Job Description:

Sales Operations Provisioning Associate (Contractor 6 months)

(Location: Austin, Bay Area)

Cloudera is looking for a Customer Operations Analyst who has a passion for ensuring operational excellence. You will be joining a team responsible for adhering to strict policies for data integrity and data management, along with follow-through on customer success elements such as support system set-up, entitlement creation and email notification. Given the amount of customer focus and compliance adherence involved, the candidate requires strong communication, organization, and multitasking capabilities, along with strong logical reasoning and project management skills to seamlessly handle a variety of initiatives.

A candidate should have a strong aptitude towards adhering to business processes and policies. Should be able to operate independently, manage daily task execution directly related to critical business functions around revenue recognition, and demonstrate the ability to problem solve or ask questions resulting in timely closure of open tasks. Multi-tasking, time management, and keeping a detailed eye around each process and task are additional qualities of successful team members.

As part of this role, you will:

Ensure revenue recognition compliance for all new subscription customers into support within 24 hours of contract start date

Manage ongoing license key generation and maintenance for all subscription Customer and Partner accounts

Coordinate with Deal Desk, Sales Support, Legal, and Finance for renewal, expansion or upgrade deals

Coordinate with Sales Support and Sales on proper account setup and documentation within our CRM system

Create, set up and maintain customer entitlements within Salesforce customer portal

Ensure customer support details are maintained, including customer domains, license keys, support access, etc.

Identify or lead opportunities for process improvement and streamlining operations within the support team

Assist in project managing multiple support-related projects across the team as prioritized in quarterly review cycles

As part of this role, you have:

2+ years of Customer engagement or Client Support focused position

2+ years of experience with Salesforce.com, JIRA, reporting systems/tools

Strong background in process compliance or operations administration

Working in a team collaborative environment

Experience with quarter close processes and working with tight deadlines

Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple projects from start to completion
